Keep in mind...

When you choose the friend to act as you best man, make sure he is reliable and takes his responsibility seriously. On your stag night you want to go out and have a really good time with no worries to spoil your evening. Although the best man has the responsibility for making the arrangements for the celebrations, it is the groom who decides what he does and does not want included in those plans. If you do not want to be embarrassed by a semi-clothed ‘sharara’ draping herself all over you in a public place – then make it clear to your best man. Tell him what you are not willing to tolerate and, if by chance, the evening does get out of hand, make sure you have your taxi fare with you and do not be afraid to leave.

Make sure, too, that the stag night celebrations are held at least a few days before the wedding day, giving everyone time to recover from any over indulgences.
