How do you want to appear on your wedding day? Do you want to be demure, radiant, glamorous, ethereal, dramatic or minimalist? Or do you want a 'combination look'? Radiant or minimalist?

To achieve the look you choose, you must decide from the onset what you want for yourself. The key word here is the 'emotion' you feel with regard to the big day.

When I begin a collection, I search first for the underlying emotion. When I get that special 'feeling', I make sure all the pieces in the collection are flavoured with it. Once I've decided that the emotion is 'airy', 'fluid' or whatever, the rest is easy.

And it is the same principle that works to create a 'look'.

Obviously, a wedding requires much elaborate planning. However, the secret to a wedding is primarily the bride and her ‘look’ itself. In the grand plan to look perfect, most brides forget that they are creating an overall impression. One cannot alienate the jewellery from the make-up or the shoes from the sari.
